Frequently asked questions.

  • Within an Annual Project, a comprehensive shot list will be drawn up that covers the vast majority of your offering, including, but not limited to: early years through to final grade; information technology; art & design; science; senior leadership and key support staff; sport; building architecture and facilities, etc.

It is also crucial to include elements that align to your facility’s key message and narrative. For example, if one of your brand values includes empowering risk taking, visuals that include adrenaline sports or other co-curricular pursuits outside of general academia would represent this.

Working together with the marketing and communications department/individuals during pre-production to conceive this schedule, will ensure swift, smooth and efficient shooting during the project’s production days.

  • Before each project commences, all key deliverables are discussed and agreed contractually - this both outlines your expectations and confirms what you will receive.

Most projects will return multiple hundreds of images, however your service is entirely tailored to your requirements. Need more? Just let us know.

  • Depending on the size of the project, your final image delivery will be returned in no more than 30 days, including the proofing process.

A priority service is also available for short deadlines, with image return in less than 7 days.

  • Following completion of an Annual Project, images will be selected from our side based on general principles, such as composition, sharpness and ‘is it a good photograph.’

This first proof will then be shared with you in order for you to make your selections.

Once selections have been made, the gallery will be edited to 90% completion and returned for a second proof.

Once you confirm the second proof, images will then be finalised and delivered via download.

Your gallery will be formatted for screen and web usage, at a resolution high enough to ensure beautiful clarity, though still at a file size appropriate for fast loading times on web pages and within email campaigns. You may well have your own requirements that we will be sure to align to.

Should you require full or print resolution, this will be arranged alongside.

  • Most images are used for digital marketing and web purposes. This includes populating your primary website; email communications and campaigns; social media channels, but also internal usage on any screens you may utilise within your facilities.

This doesn’t go to say that you cannot print your images - this is also possible and very much encouraged.

Usage and destinations will be outlined in the initial agreement so that your delivery will be appropriately formatted for use.

  • No, videography productions are also available, following a detailed analysis of your needs, the final destination of the asset, and a comprehensive planning stage.

  • Whatever you require.

Cinematic brand films, piece-to-camera/interviews, b-roll, aerial filming, adventure/travel pieces.

Once production has finished, we will also edit and colour grade the footage to your style and brand guidelines.

  • Not all parents wish for their child to be photographed. Before each project, all parents will be contacted to fully inform them of proceedings, gain consent for their child to be included, or opt out if they choose.

Those children that have been highlighted for omission will not be photographed during the shoot. This will also be reviewed during initial image proofing following production to ensure no mistakes.

  • Thinking of something outside of annual or monthly shooting? We would be happy to discuss creating a tailored service to cater to your vision.
